The Role

Within SSE’s Metering and Smart Transformation (MaST) programme the Deployment Operations Centre (DOC) is integral to the successful installation of smart meters to our customer base, ensuring we avoid unnecessary costs and identify potential opportunities.

Sitting in the DOC’s Reporting & Analytics team, this role is responsible for providing operational, deployment and management information to the Metering business, including the MaST leadership team and the Executive Committee.

From sourcing data to designing and developing management reports, this role will give you the opportunity to work with stakeholders across the business and take responsibility for the production of KPIs, MI reports and ad-hoc reporting requests too.

Your Skills and Experience

You’ll have a good understanding of metric development and performance reporting, as well as experience of applying your analytical skills in a structured manner.

You will be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access, and have experience using these software packages to design and develop management reports.  

Good communication skills are crucial in order to help you to influence stakeholders to make data-led decisions, and naturally you’ll be a highly organised individual with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
