Network Support Advisor

Location: Portsmouth

Salary: £20,545 - £27,133 depending on skills and experience

12 month fixed term contract – Full time hours

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Advisor to join the Cable Damage Rechargeable Debt team. This team plays a key role in recovering debt from third party damage to our network. They are a part of the Networks Support department which delivers 2 key functions, OTL and Rechargeable Debt. The department is ever changing in order to deliver the needs of our customers and you will be required to train across both functions and have the ability to switch between the work streams as required. The role will be varied so you must be able to adapt to a fast moving and ever evolving team with enthusiasm and a positive approach.

You’ll be dealing with customers queries both on the phone and by email so should enjoy finding solutions to problems whilst adhering to operational processes and industry regulations. You should be resilient with the ability to stay calm even when working under pressure. During times of bad weather, you will be required to give support through your storm role which may mean working outside of your normal hours. This is a busy role therefore it is important that you have the ability to prioritise and coordinate tasks to meet deadlines in an exciting, fast-paced environment. With excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, you should display a passion for providing help and support to colleagues as well as going above and beyond to get the job done. You’ll need excellent analytical and communication skills alongside an understanding of our Networks business.
