Team Manager Regional Support

Location: North Calendonia Region – Aberdeen, Peterhead or Elgin

Salary: £29,170 - £32,720 depending on skills and experience + car allowance

Permanent – Full Time Hours (37 hr week)

As Team Manager, you will lead and co-ordinate your team to ensure they are equipped to extend, maintain or repair the local network in a safe, cost-effective and responsive manner, ensuring guaranteed and overall standards are achieved in accordance with our regional business. You will lead the team in all safety family values, improving and maintaining the Broader Measure of Customer Service scores for connections and supply interruptions.

In order to succeed in this role, you will have a high-level technical understanding of your team's responsibilities and previous experience in team management would be beneficial. You would be expected to understand the electricity distribution network and be able to provide technical guidance to your team. A qualification in Electrical Engineering would be advantageous but not essential. As part of this role you will use your good leadership, organisational, diagnostic and problem solving skills and will need to be an effective communicator at all levels.

An ability to work well, both as part of a team and to foster good working relationships with other parts of the business is essential.

Having excellent interpersonal skills, you will be capable of building lasting relationships with stakeholders at all levels. As a result of this, you will have first class verbal and written communication skills, being able to convey your position in a clear and concise manner.
