Location: UK (flexible base location with regular travel)

Salary: SS07 £35,147 - £46,418 plus car/car allowance

Permanent | Full Time Hours with flexible working patterns available 37 hours


Our Role

The Junior Project Manager is a key point of delivery of projects to SSE Enterprise Contracting.  The Junior Project Manager will be able to deliver projects using the necessary change frameworks with guidance from their manager and colleagues.  A vital part of the role is managing the customer relationships and expectations. 

You’ll be responsible for the end to end delivery of projects using best practice methodologies and mandatory governance frameworks whilst ensuring effective control over costs, quality, plans and resources.  You’ll need to be focused on delivery against stretching targets and requirements and will provide regular progress reports. 

The role is a developmental one and as Junior Project Manager you will look to develop and progress to a point that you are able to successfully deliver large projects independently.

At times the Junior Project Manager may be required to manage and deliver large individual projects or multiple smaller projects.  You’ll also often be required to act as part of a team to support delivery of wider projects.


Your Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:

- Experience of successful change delivery into a complex business

- Proven Budget Management capability

- Experience in supplier management

- Experience within IT related projects

- Demonstrated awareness of managing risks and issues

- Ability to identify Change Impacts and adequately plan and deliver the required activities to ensure changes are sustainable

- Advanced user of MS applications including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
