Our Role

Reporting to the Head of Asset Management you will be a key member of the Asset Management Heat team.  As an Asset Manager you will be responsible for implementing asset management framework (ISO 55001) activities with focus on driving profit from the heat networks and generation assets by optimising our asset management activities to ensure integrity, compliance and innovative operations whilst ensuring acceptable safety, performance, cost and risk.

You will own the P&L for 4-5 networks including energy spend and O&M spend and drive efficiency through optimising operating and maintenance regime whilst managing risk and by delivering agreed EBIT targets.  You will develop maintenance plans for assets using whole life principals and overseeing their implementation.

You will ensure accurate asset information is collected for inspection, defects, work orders and renewal/replacement of assets within IBM Maximo.  Additionally, you will investigate root cause of asset or system failures or incidents ensuring that all licensing, regulatory and contractual obligations are met.

Your Skills and Experience

You will have a strong experience of working within Heat (Combined Heat and Power), Cooling, Generation or Distributed Energy industry with hands on experience of managing M&E assets. You will also have strong commercial acumen and previous P&L experience to deliver value optimisation.

You will have a working knowledge of ISO 55001 Asset Management Framework and of Failure Mode, Effects, and Critical Analysis (FMECA).
