The Role

As Digital Performance Analyst you will report into the Digital Performance Manager within the Digital Product Office.

In this role you’ll be feeding into the analytics strategy and promoting best practices across the business. Whilst working with other skilled analysts in the Digital Performance team, you will be using your ability to analyse how our customers interact with our digital properties, such as, and the digital competitive market in general. From your analysis you will be providing insights & recommendations on opportunities for improvement to the digital team and the wider business.

Utilizing qualitative digital data tools, such as voice of customer, online surveys and session replay, you will look to understand the needs of our digital customers and you’ll provide recommendations on opportunities to meet the needs of those customers. Collaborating with other digital performance analysts, via a mixed method approach, you’ll provide insights into the “why” behind quantitative web analytics data and you will also run qualitative data research projects.

Collaboration is key within this role. You’ll work with the UX Design team to enrich data from user experience testing and you’ll work with the wider Digital and Digital Marketing teams to help them identify business and site improvement opportunities. Furthermore, you will communicate findings and recommendations that you uncover to a wide range of technical and business stakeholders. Ensuring selected 3rd party agencies and suppliers meet their given targets by being the day to day contact.

Your Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate for this role will have a detailed knowledge of qualitative digital analytics techniques along with an Advanced level of experience of enterprise level qualitative data systems. You’ll have the ability to translate high volumes of unstructured data into insight and to uncover actionable insight through data mining. You’ll possess excellent communication skills with both business and technical stakeholders and across all levels of seniority and you’ll have a good understanding of the value of customer segmentation and how this can be applied.  You’ll be a collaborative team player with experience of the agile way of thinking in agile teams.

Additionally, you’ll have an understanding of Market performance analytics and Market research in terms of consumers and trends.  Ideally, you’ll have knowledge of the energy industry however this is not essential.  You will be an innovative person who is continuously looking for new approaches to solving business problems and improvements for business processes in which the problem exists.
