The Role

As Outage coordinator, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that all activities that have an impact on renewable generation have been prepared, planned and presented to the operations control centre shift team in a safe, compliant and efficient manner. Working with other Renewable Operations Control Centre support functions, you will manage and maintain relationships to ensure transparency and good levels of communication with field-based teams. You’ll manage the collation and analysis of all defects affecting the operations centre and lead on operational innovation to drive efficiency.

Your Skills & Experience

We are looking for someone who has experience of working in an operations or maintenance role and has detailed knowledge of safe operations, operational planning and the grid code. You’ll be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of safety rules and applicable legislation to ensure safe and compliant operations.

Ideally, you’ll be degree educated in a discipline relevant to the role. An understanding of the economics associated with renewable plant, trading within electricity markets and electrical systems would also be advantageous.
