Job Title: IT Service Assurance Manager

Location: Havant or Reading

Salary: £51,100 – £77,300 depending on skills and experience + car/cash allowance + annual bonus

Permanent | Full Time Hours with flexible working patterns available

Our Role

In this role, you will be responsible for providing an effective service assurance function for our IT business. You will manage the definition of services and service levels required to support the business and ensure that these services are always provisioned successfully . We hold a large portfolio of IT services and this will allow you to come and define and own the service delivery model. Alongside this, you will work as a key interface with a 3rd party service providers, managing the relationships with large parties such as Oracle through to smaller niche players. Additionally, you will work with the wider SSE IT group that supplies many of its services to our retail business through a Transitional Services Agreement.

This will be a high-profile position where you will have to build effective working relationships with senior Managers across SSE to ensure that the varied and changing service requirements of the business are understood and are incorporated into a framework of continuous improvement.

You will be joining us at a time of exciting change for SSE Energy Services and this role will allow you the chance to really influence and implement changes, to ensure our company is well placed to meet the challenges ahead. As our business changes, you will get the chance to redefine the service delivery model working both with your customers and peers.

Your Skills and Experience

We are looking for you to join us with comparative experience of working in a similar scale organisation and It would be a benefit if you have experience of supporting the onboarding of cloud-based solutions.

You will be self-motivated and able to work effectively in a range of teams, with a demonstrated background in defining and implementing change Your strong communication skills will mean that you are confident interacting at all levels of the organisation and you will be skilled at negotiation and debating to reach mutually agreeable outcomes.
