Our Role

Due to continued growth SSE Enterprise Telecoms is currently recruiting for an additional Lean Delivery Manager who will support the development, expansion and delivery of Continuous Improvement across the Enterprise Telecoms business. 

You will be focussed on providing Lean Six Sigma delivery experience to accelerate deployment of the Telecoms transformational strategy. Working within the Telecoms Lean Transformation team this role will drive deployment of a Continuous Improvement culture and a focus on Process Excellence.

As Lean Delivery Manager, you will be specifically responsible for the development and execution of the Lean deployment strategy for your process area; this includes facilitating leadership teams through analysis of their value streams; selection and prioritisation of focus areas; business case development; delivery of improvement projects and coaching of functional teams in Lean and Six Sigma techniques.

You will work with our senior process owners to develop plans in support of the Lean Transformation programme deployment ambitions.  You will also lead high value strategic initiatives across business teams and will be responsible for developing and managing delivery plans within time, quality and cost constraints.

As well as managing the projects, your responsibilities will also extend to driving cultural change, introduction of process management and supporting the Head of Lean Transformation to deliver Lean training, coaching and development

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

As Lean Delivery Manager, you will be either accredited Six Sigma Black Belt, you will be an expert in Lean Six Sigma methods and techniques, with extensive experience of business process modelling and re-engineering, facilitating problem solving workshops, delivering training and coaching up to Green Belt, and ensuring benefits realisation. 

You must have strong demonstrable experience of Lean six sigma development having trained through green belt to black belt with an accredited organisation.

Experienced in continuous Improvement development, deployment and delivery in a customer focused, high volume business as well as strong Lean training, coaching and mentoring experience.  You will have a strong track record of engaging and inspiring others to collaborate on e2e process improvements and adopt Lean ways of working every day.

You will be experienced at analysing process performance to design and deliver a coherent portfolio of projects and training activity to drive improvements.  You will have strong strategic planning, time management and prioritization skills as well as the ability to balance multiple priorities.

You must have an engaging communication style and experience in presenting complex data to all levels of leadership. The ability to motivate, develop and empower teams to successfully deliver the development of Lean Six Sigma will be crucial in enabling you to create a positive change culture.
